I had a few days off work last week and it was brilliant and much needed. It’s so nice just to have some time off and not have to worry about getting up early 🙂
I also have a few days booked off next month and a Friday and a half day booked off in December. I am so glad that i have balanced these days out so that i can have a little rest and relaxation. I think sometimes we forget to do that for ourselves (Counsellors and caregivers) and it is important to regain balance!! Look at me being all philisophical lol….
Especially at this time of year when it’s getting dark early and you leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark comfort and relaxation is very important to your frame of mind.
